Mission Statement and Worship
Information We are a Open and Affirming community,
welcoming and valuing all persons as children of God. All are fully and equally
the image of God: loved, guided, forgiven, and accepted. In seeking to do
justice and care for one another, we recognize, affirm, and support people of
diverse ages, races, nationalities, sexual orientation, incomes, domestic
relationships, and mental and physical abilities. All are encouraged to
participate in the worship, life, work, and service of this
church. YOU ARE
WELCOME! Sunday School for children and
teens Children join in worship until after the
Children's Story (about 15 minutes into the service). They then recess for
one-room Sunday School. Sunday School students remain in worship on first Sundays to share in Holy Communion with the rest of the congregation. Children are worshippers, too!. Adult
Programs We offer a variety of programs throughout
the year, including scheduled Bible Studies, social events and service groups.
See our Calendar of Events for details. Holy Communion is celebrated on First
Sundays.
